few new teas to enjoy the cold weather (my favourite)
Food on my flight to Miami: plane food is usually not that good, this was an exception (perhaps because the flight originated from Rome?)
Strolling around the Naviglia antique market in Milan. A nice addition to my #cabinetofcuriosities
it's been a while...enjoying Apulean food (and other beauties)
My usual breakfast, Milano edition
View from the balcony at the Maggiore Lake: a quiet holiday in Italy, not much cooking but a good restaurant at lunch. Enough to enjoy the day and reflect on what I want to make happen in the coming months.
Preparing 'puntarelle' salad by soaking them in iced water...apparently this makes them curly and also removes some of the bitter taste they may have. Leave them like this for an hour and theb season with anchovis paste and olive oil. Delicious and kind of refreshingly light after festive heavier dishes.
Ready to go in a super yummy clams linguini, let's start the year with a delicious and super simple dish...and make sure delicious, simple and abundant are some of the keywords throughout 2022!
It's one of those mornings...
Good food, good mood! The simple truth
Neurozone coaching training scribbles, loved every second of it!
The cure for anything is salt water — sweat, tears, or the sea. — Isak Dinesen
Saturday afternoon-ing: in my world, it's about doing very little, resting very much, drinking lemon ginger honey tea and making plans for the weeks ahead, all while enjoying the sun and seeing people IRL (safe distance always!)
I am impressed! It's less than 10mins from order (in my case a few toiletries, bottled water, milk and eggs) and delivery. And it's raining...Only local for now, but certainly best grocery online shopping experience in quite some time
Back home, with flying colors!
Mixing and matching, cheesecake and jasmin tea, both excellent and served in less-matching china. Nevertheless a highly pleasant and enjoyable experience for all the senses, and some memories of my dad who bought me the lovely Japanese tea cup during one of our antique markets visits.
What you think, you become. Pondering while sipping
Making lasagna from scratch, including ragu' and bechamel. The smell is SO good, can't wait to enjoy it tomorrow!
Mushroom risotto during and after... one of my comfort foods, super simple to cook and easy to digest.
